JaeVee is a prop-tech business based in Norwich, UK that provides online property courses. Those wanting to get into the property industry to learn from the comfort of their own home, at their own pace can do so using JaeVee’s online course app.
Producing the online course app
My two developers, George, Tom and I began working on a new online course app for JaeVee in August 2018.
Above all, JaeVee wanted a Pay As You Go model, incorporating multiple learning styles. In addition, this needed to include videos, transcripts and audio versions for each module.
Course structure
JaeVee provided a number of in-person property courses, which included a plethora of in-depth content.
We took each course and made it suitable for an online format. For example, we restructured them into manageable chapters and modules for the online system.
In addition, we built quizzes to allow the client to test their knowledge on what they had just learnt for each chapter.
Furthermore, courses can be combined into learning paths to enable JaeVee to structure paths for their clients in specific ways depending on their needs. Moreover, this included progress tracking so clients could monitor their progress throughout their learning experience.
Clients are able to take notes, save the course, ask questions and provide feedback on any of the course content too.
Back office for an online course app
As with all JaeVee projects, we provided a back office to allow for a full-scale administration system.
For instance, this needed to include full control over the course material, structure, audit logs and reporting. In short, JaeVee are able to curate their own course content through the platform.
Since its launch in November 2018, the online course app has been used by over 1000 users.
